Leslie Park Rink
Leslie Park's rink is one of the best managed outdoor ice surfaces in the City. From early January to late February (weather dependent) we operate a large rink and offer supervised skating 7 days a week. The rink is also used by students at St. John the Apostle school in the winter season.
The rink is maintained and supervised by a team of Leslie Park residents and our goal is to create a fun, safe and cooperative environment for all ages and abilities. We ask you to respect the following guidelines for the different types of 'skates' offered:
Family Skate: No hockey. Children with sticks welcome, no official games.
Open Skate: Be safe, respectful and kind. Share the rink. Use common sense, for example:
no end to end hockey if there is a family trying to have a peaceful skate.
end to end hockey welcome if no one else is on the ice.
move the nets and play the width of the ice so two games can be going on, one for newer players, one for more advanced.
