Trash to Treasure Give-Away!
Saturday, September 18 - 8:00-11:00 am (rain date Sun, September 19)
This is an opportunity for Leslie Park residents to give-away gently used, unwanted possessions to others. The goal is to reuse items rather than sending them to the landfill.
How to participate:
- Leave your unwanted, gently used items (toys, small furniture, books, clothing, accessories, kitchen items, etc.) on the lawn in front of your home for treasure hunters to pick up.
- Include a sign that says "FREE" with your items and remember to take anything leftover in at the end of the day.
In the spirit of the global " Buy Nothing" movement, and mindful of the local current COVID restrictions, it is recommended that no money, service, or exchange of items will take place during this specific Trash to Treasure event.
Consider donating items that are not picked up through local charities or by advertising in local Facebook groups such as the Buy Nothing Group Baseline West or the Leslie Park Circular.
