The New Park!
Leslie Park or as most residents call it "Dayton Park" will get a facelift this coming October. The city has decided to replace the aging park which is 20 years old, and has given us a
$100 000 budget. This will create a setting that will accomodate all ages and complement the water park. The design below shows what will take place. Notice the path will get moved, and there will be 2 seperate play areas for younger kids and older kids.
Well I went for a walk with the kids to the park tonight, and its not there anymore :-(. So I guess the new park is coming soon! Go for a walk and see the progress........ Here are some semi final pics of what the park is going to look like including the colours.
